Dr. Daniel P. Bolin, Director of Educational Resources – Owner
Dan has been an educator for thirty-seven years. He has taught in the Indianapolis Public Schools, Lebanon Community Schools, and the Metropolitan School District of Perry Township. From 1983 – 95, he served the Perry Township Schools as assistant principal at Southport High School, Director of Secondary Education, Personnel Director, Assistant Superintendent, and Interim Superintendent. He is one of the founders of the Indiana State School Music Association and was responsible for administering the Indiana state marching, concert and solo-ensemble festivals for several years. He is actively involved in the Indianapolis arts community serving as Chairman of the Program Committee for Young Audiences of Indiana and past Chairman of the Board.
Colonel L. Bryan Shelburne, Jr. (ret), Director, Special Events & Artistic Resources – Owner
Bryan served from 1990 to 2000 as the Conductor and Commander of The United States Army Band in Washington, DC, the Army’s premier musical organization, culminating a 30 year career in military music. At the time of his retirement, Shelburne was the senior musical leader in all of the Armed Forces. Colonel Shelburne had begun his music career as a successful high school band director in Houston, Texas, increasing his program by over a hundred students in the three years before the Army recruited him back into uniform. Colonel Shelburne is a frequent guest conductor, lecturer, and clinician throughout the country.
Joyce Leck, Administrative Assistant
Joyce is a graduate of Ball State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Education. Her career includes various management positions with Ameritech/SBC including development and administration of training materials and assignments in the Human Resources organization. She served as SBC’s Indiana Labor Relations Manager. In that position, she developed and administered the Enhanced Training and Education Program for the company that provided employees the opportunity to obtain Associate Degrees through local technical schools and universities. Since retiring, she has been involved with planning and escorting numerous school music and educational trips. As time permits, she substitutes at a local elementary school.
Patrick Vanlerberghe, European Travel Partner
Patrick is the Global Educational Tours European tour partner and is based in Belgium. Upon graduation from college he immediately entered the tourism industry as a travel bureau accountant. During his more than 25 years in the industry, he has managed tours in every country on the European continent and has traveled extensively throughout North Africa and the United States. He is a Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) and recently became a Master Cruise Counselor (MCC). Mr. Vanlerberghe speaks Flemish, French, German and English fluently and is conversational in Italian, Dutch, Austrian and Swiss.
